How Should You Withdraw Money From Your Retirement Accounts?

It’s hard to find anyone who really enjoys paying taxes. So it’s not surprising that people often want to put them off for just as long as they can. This is why some financial strategists find it easy to tell their clients to “never take money from a taxable account until you’re required to do so by law.”

But is this good advice? In many cases it is not. The truth is that there are individuals who, by paying some taxes now in the short term, may drastically cut or permanently eliminate those taxes later on.  Sometimes paying a little bit now makes a lot more sense than delaying the inevitable.

How do you decide what’s suitable for you? What’s the strategy? Get the details from “Professor” Rick Plum, CFP®, on this week’s edition of Lucia Capital Group Weekly!
