The Dowden Report – December 2023

Hello and welcome to the December edition of the Dowden Report.

As the year draws to a close, I’m excited to share the highlights from our recent Murder Mystery Party and updates on our family traditions.

Murder Mystery 2023: A Swinging Success!

This year’s theme was “Time Magazine’s Person of the Year: Murder in the Swinging 60’s”. It was a blast with memorable characters like John Lennon (yours truly) and Yoko Ono (Genie). Congratulations to our award winners – Austin Powers, Andy Warhol, and Lucille Ball! A huge thank you to my son Chase for an excellent script. As I mentioned last month: please let me know who is interested in attending 2024’s Murder Mystery party. If we can get a few more of you I will host one here in Las Vegas just for you.

Thanksgiving with Family:

We spent Thanksgiving with my daughter and her fiancé, as they hosted the family for the 3^rd year in a row. Looks like a new tradition has begun in the Dowden Family, and I couldn’t be happier.

Year-End Financial Thoughts:

On the financial front: we are entering the last month of the year and the thick of the holiday shopping season. I am hopeful that we can close out the year strong and head into 2024 on a high note.
