The Dowden Report – October 2023

To those of you who’ve been with me on this journey—friends, family, colleagues—your unwavering support means the world. And for those I haven’t met yet, thank you for tuning in and I hope you enjoy these monthly updates.

As we are heading into the final quarter of 2023, I wanted to share what I’ve been up to recently. This summer, as we always do, the Dowden family headed to our favorite hiking spot, visiting the serene Fossil Creek, Strawberry, Arizona. This year, Genie and I took our furry companions on a hike down to the creek to enjoy the water and pristine scenery.

After we spent a few days enjoying all that Strawberry and the Coconino National Forest had to offer, we drove up to Flagstaff to celebrate my niece’s wedding. And what a beautiful wedding it was. It inspired me to think about ideas for my daughter’s upcoming wedding next year. There will be more to share on that as we get closer to the date.

And as of right now, I’m gearing up for a deep-sea fishing quest off Mexico’s coast, starting from San Diego. If you’ve ever been deep sea fishing, you know how much fun it can be. Prepare for some captivating tales and, fingers crossed, impressive catches in my next video.

On the financial front, as we wrap up the 3rd quarter, the horizon looks promising. I’m cautiously optimistic. The markets have been treating us well, even in the face of some economic news that may be suggesting otherwise. It’s times like these that remind us why having a Bucket Strategy is so important.
