Celebrating Milestones and Looking Ahead

Hey guys, it’s Ara with your monthly update. I just recently celebrated my 40th birthday. I had my best friend fly in from Australia. My cousins flew in from Mexico City and Denver, and we all celebrated with my family up in Los Angeles. It was a great time but now it’s time to focus and work towards to accomplishing our goals for 2024. I hope everything has been going well for you during the start of the new year. Let’s look at what’s been going on and what we can take advantage of this year going forward to help us move toward our goals.  

2023 Financial Recap and 2024 Outlook

Reflecting on the past two years, we’ve seen significant shifts in the financial landscape. The Federal Reserve’s aggressive monetary policies have elevated short-term interest rates to levels not seen since the early 2000s. This environment has seen investors gravitating towards cash-like products, balancing the need for less volatility with the desire for income. Notably, the S&P 500 made impressive strides with a 26% return in 2023. However, it’s essential to balance the risk and performance in our investment strategies.
